Join Us

We’re building a community of neighbors helping neighbors.

The most important thing you can do right now is share about this project.

What Will Volunteers Do?

Omega Homes use a combination of paid caregivers for certain shifts and trained volunteers filling other roles. There will be someone at the house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Volunteer opportunities will include:

Administrative Help Fundraising, event planning, communications, and behind-the-scenes work that keeps the organization running.

Direct Care Sitting with guests, providing companionship, helping with meals, and being a comforting presence during the end of life.

House Support Cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, and maintaining a warm, welcoming environment.

All caregiving volunteers will receive essential training through Omega Home Network resources and guidance.

Not Ready to Volunteer Yet? You Can Still Help.

The most important thing you can do right now is talk about this project.

Tell your neighbors, your church, your book club, your family. Spread the word that Maryland’s first community end-of-life care home is coming.

The Power of Community

The Omega Home Network message is clear: Start small, one step at a time, with love. Communities across America are successfully providing this model of care through dedicated volunteers. We can too.
